In most cases, the update is quick, but Google recommends allowing up to 24 hours for the changes to propagate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes, though, new accounts fail to show up in the Google Contacts Directory at all. This is a known Google issue that they are working to fix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the meantime, Workspace admins can use the following methods to force the missing account to appear in the Directory:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adjust directory contact sharing settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00d6ppna <a href=\"https:\/\/admin.google.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/admin.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google Workspace Admin console<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>G\u00e5 till <strong>Directory settings > Sharing settings > Contact sharing > Edit contact sharing.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure <strong>Show all email addresses<\/strong> \u00e4r kontrollerad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bl\u00e4ddra ner till <strong>Choose what is shown in the browsable \u201cDirectory\u201d in Contact Manager.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Change the options in this order, saving after each step: \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Select Show only domain profiles > Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refresh and check if the missing user appears.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If not, switch to <strong>Show only domain shared contacts > Save<\/strong>. Wait about a minute.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finally, re-select Show both domain profiles and domain shared contacts > Save.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"951\" src=\"https:\/\/sharedcontacts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-92.png\" alt=\"Directory contact sharing settings in Google Workspace admin console\" class=\"wp-image-29677\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sharedcontacts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-92.png 1600w, https:\/\/sharedcontacts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-92-300x178.png 300w, https:\/\/sharedcontacts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-92-1200x713.png 1200w, https:\/\/sharedcontacts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-92-768x456.png 768w, https:\/\/sharedcontacts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-92-1536x913.png 1536w, https:\/\/sharedcontacts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-92-18x12.png 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Go back to the Directory. The missing contact should now be visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reactivate contact sharing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the previous method doesn\u2019t work for you, you need to re-enable directory contact sharing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I <a href=\"https:\/\/admin.google.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/admin.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google Workspace admin console<\/a>, go to <strong>Directory > Directory settings > Contact sharing<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uncheck <strong>Aktivera<\/strong> contact sharing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait 24 hours, then re-enable it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After reactivation, all users should be visible in the Directory.<\/p>","protected":false},"template":"","faq_category":[831],"class_list":["post-29676","faq","type-faq","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/sharedcontacts.com\/sv\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/faq\/29676","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/sharedcontacts.com\/sv\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/faq"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/sharedcontacts.com\/sv\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/faq"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/sharedcontacts.com\/sv\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=29676"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"faq_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sharedcontacts.com\/sv\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/faq_category?post=29676"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
